Here is the first walks programme, from 1983. The Summer 1990 programme was an A6-sized booklet, funded by adverts. In addition to the walking programme there was a family day, treasure hunt, beach clean & BBQ, compass challenge and slide show, mostly organised by the Social Secretary. A coach trip to Pembrokeshire and a boat trip to Flatholm island. The leaders' evening boasted a "well catered buffet and a glass of wine". There were three overnight trips away, to Shropshire, North Wales and Abercraf. Wednesday walks named the leader, but the destination was not decided until the date arrived.  |
